Privacy Policy

This privacy policy explains what Kaomojis does with your data. In short: a few choices stay in your browser, page votes are counted, and server logs are kept briefly. There are no ads, no Google Analytics and no tracking cookies.

Kept in your browser

Nicknames you save and similar choices are stored in your browser’s local storage. They never reach us, and clearing your browser data removes them.

Votes and notes

When you rate a page we keep only the total. A one-way hash of your IP address and the page is held for one day to stop repeat votes. Optional notes are kept with their time and page, up to the latest 300.

Server logs and Cloudflare

Access logs (IP address, time, page, browser) are kept for about 10 days for security, then deleted. The site is delivered through Cloudflare, which processes requests and may set a short security cookie.

Email

Messages to [email protected] are used only to reply and are deleted on request.

Children

The site does not ask anyone for personal information. If you believe a child sent us personal details, email us and we will delete them.

Your rights

You can ask us to see, correct or delete data about you, including under the GDPR for readers in the EU and UK, and US state privacy laws such as the CCPA where they apply. Email [email protected]; we reply within 30 days, usually much sooner.
